Presents a story about Squirrel. He marks the spot of his store of acorns by a signpost. Other animals find unexpected uses for his signpost and Squirrel will never be able to find his acorns. The other animals feed Squirrel in turns - leading to interesting meal-times. Spring Squirrel finds his acorns in spring - a ring of oak saplings.
