Seven studies report findings of the international research project Profknow, which was funded by the European Commission. They deal with how restructuring the organization and governing of educational systems intersects with working life in the teaching profession. In particular, they consider how teachers are experiencing and implementing restructuring; and what implications restructuring has for the work, education, and schooling of teachers.
