Gemma Barder lives in Market Harborough, Leicester, with her family and a mischievous cocker spaniel. She started life working in childrens and pre-teen magazines before moving into the world of publishing. Shes now a freelance writer full time and writes activity books, treasuries, novels and storybooks for children, as well as publishing her own magazine. Gemma writes a wide range of childrens books for Sweet Cherry, with more projects in the pipeline.





Archina is a freelance illustrator from Naples, Italy, where she studied illustration at Scuola Italiana di Comix. She loves bringing magical characters and worlds to life with her illustrations. She has worked on some fantastic children's books and hopes to be able to tell stories through her images for the rest of her life!





Rebecca Price studied painting at the Slade School of Fine Art, and animation at Central St Martins. Since then, she has exhibited widely as an artist, mainly in London and around Britain, but also in Switzerland, Los Angeles, Kassel and Vienna. As an artist-in-residence she has worked with children in many schools. She specialises in drawing children, particularly depicting their emotions and their relationship to the natural world.  





Grace is an illustrator from the UK. For as long as she can remember, she's had a pencil or paintbrush in her hand, and with these tools has learnt to capture the worlds and characters that find themselves dancing through her imagination. She is never without a good book, and has loved reimagining some of her favourite literary characters whilst working with Sweet Cherry Publishing. She finds her inspiration in nature, old buildings, libraries and lemon cake.Arianna is a freelance illustrator based in Florence, Italy, where she majored in Entertainment Design at Nemo Academy. Since then she has worked as 2D artist with Italian independent video game studios. The Sherlock Holmes series is her debut novel as an illustrator for Children's books.
