He is also Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of a Los Angeles-based investment firm. Dr. Shim received his MBA and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California at Berkeley. He has published numerous articles in professional and academic journals. Jonathan Lansner is the business columnist for The Orange County Register in Santa Ana, CA, and editor of the Society of American Business Editors and Writers Newsletter, The Business Journalist.
