About the Author Rich Carriero Longmont, CO Rich Carriero is a test prep expert and has been teaching and tutoring for standardized tests and developing verbal content for 20 years. He has a B.S. in English, and he scored in the 99th percentile on the verbal and writing sections of the GRE and in the 99th percentile on the GMAT. He started his career at Kaplan Test Prep, where he was a teacher and a tutor for the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, and TOEFL for 11 years. He also created verbal content for test prep courses for the SAT ACT, and more. Carriero then obtained a TESOL Certificate and taught ESL and TOEFL prep classes in Istanbul, Turkey, working with students to prepare them for American standardized tests. After returning to the U.S.,Carriero taught ACT, GRE, and GMAT prep to students at the University of Colorado. He currently works for Blueprint Test Preparation as an Academic Manager and for Campus Prep, where he teaches the companys flagship GRE class and SAT, ACT, and GMAT classes.
