Joćo Vidal de Carvalho Post-Doctorate in Technologies and Information Systems at the University of Coimbra. PhD in Information Systems and Technology from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Master in Information Technology Management from the University of Minho and Degree in Informatics/Applied Mathematics from the Portucalense University. He was (between 2020 and 2022) Vice-Director of the Research Center for Organizational and Social Studies of the Polytechnic of Porto (CEOS.PP). Effective member of the Committee for Recognition/Certification of Skills of ISCAP/Polytechnic University of Porto. Vice-President of IADITIInternational Association for Digital Transformation and Technological Innovation. General Chair of the International Conference on Tourism, Technologies and Systems (ICOTTS) and General Chair of the International Conference on Information Technologies and Education (ICITED). Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Information Systems Engineering & Management and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Information and Communication Technologies. He has published books in computer science and database management and is the author of fifteen publications in scientific journals with a JCR impact factor (Q1/Q2).
António Abreu is a coordinating professor at the Higher Institute of Accounting and Administration of Porto, Polytechnic University of Porto. He has post-doctorate in Information Technologies and Systems, by the University of Coimbra, Department of Computer Engineering of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra. He has Ph.D. in Software Engineering based on reusable components with Human-Machine Interface applications, by the University of Vigo and Master in Management Informatics by the University of Minho and Degree in Informatics Applied Mathematics by the Lusķada University. He is currently a lecturer, in the scientific area of Information Systems, at the Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administraēćo do Porto/Politécnico do Porto, ISCAP/PPorto.
Mara Franco holds a Ph.D. in business and management studies from the School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto. She is currently an assistant professor at the University of Madeira, lecturing curricular units in management and marketing fields in the degrees of management, hotel management, nursing, and digital marketing. She is the president of the Higher School in Management and Technologies of the University of Madeira, and it is focused on four main areas: tourism, management, agricultural and sustainable development, and information and communication technologies. Also, she is the coordinator of the Centre for Tourism Research, Development, and Innovation of Madeira (CiTUR Madeira). As an integrated researcher of this centre, she coordinates research in the areas of carrying capacity in tourism, sustainable development in tourism, consumer behaviour in tourism, and tourism markets characterization.
Pedro Liberato is an associate professor at the Tourism and Leisure Department of the School of Hospitality and Tourism (Polytechnic Institute of Porto), where he teaches several curricular units in Tourism at undergraduate and master levels. Currently, he coordinates the Tourism Management Master degree in the same school (ESHT-P.PORTO). His main research interests are tourism marketing, digital marketing, tourism planning, creative tourism, e-tourism, and smart destinations. He supervised and co-supervised several M.Sc. dissertations and Ph.D. theses. He is also involved in applied research and consultancy projects in Tourism and Leisure and is a member of organizing and scientific committees of international conferences. He is the author or co-author of more than 50 book chapters and articles published in international journals and international conference proceedings, indexed Scopus and/or Web of Science.
