Al-'Arabiyya is the annual journal of the American Society for Teachers of Arabic. It includes scholarly articles that advance the study, research, and teaching of Arabic language, linguistics, literature, and pedagogy. Mohammad T. Alhawary is a professor of Arabic linguistics and second language acquisition at the University of Michigan. He is the editor of the Journal of Arabic Linguistics Tradition and author of many works, including Modern Standard Arabic Grammar: A Learner's Guide, Arabic Grammar in Context, and Arabic Second Language Acquisition of Morphosyntax.
