Angelique and Louis are soul mates but they can't be together for reasons beyond their control; one of them is on the earth plane and one is in the realm of the angels. Their bond is not a physical one but one of senses; each feels the others presence. They come from very different families: Angelique's parents are comfortably off but their longed for family is elusive, Louis's mother is a homeless drug addict. The angel watches over the human and both of their families, guiding and protecting, and tells their story with an ethereal voice.
