Originally from England, John V. Mutlow, FAIA, practices architecture in Los Angeles and teaches at the University of Southern California. Hes an ACSA Distinguished Professor and Director of Global Studies at the university. Noted for his extensive work in the areas of multifamily and single-family housing, especially with the Hispanic community in Los Angeles, which has led to his professional exchanges with Mexican architects. Prof. Mutlow has received numerous design awards and written extensively, including Architects Homes, The American Housing, and Design for Living.
