Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) is now an established technique for the diagnosis of GI disease. In addition, therapeutic indications for EUS have recently been developed and it is included in the training programs for gastroenterology. The Atlas of Endoscopic Ultrasonography provides a large collection of excellent images obtained from both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to give readers a preview of practice. It includes a CD-ROM with video clips and searchable database of images. This package presents a first-class collection of images to give a highly integrated introduction to endoscopic ultrasonography.

Recenzijos

Overall, the book reaches its intended audience and adds to the existing body of media by putting together a compendium of images and focused text that provides a quick reference for individuals in all phases of their careers. The book has particular strengths with the how-to and the video sections, which really make it a welcome addition to the literature. This new textbook fills an important gap for both novice and ongoing learning, written by expert endosonographers, and will be a useful addition to their libraries.  (Gastroenterology, 1 August 2012)

This is a great addition to the growing body of literature serving as introduction to EUS . . . I hope this is a wonderful success and inspires many more iterations.  (Doodys, 21 December 2012)
