Isabel Thomas is a science writer based in Cambridge. She is the author of a galaxy of books for young audiences that have been translated into more than 20 languages. They include Moth and Fox illustrated by Daniel Egnéus, which both won the AAAS/Subaru Prize for Excellence in Science Books. Her books have been shortlisted for the inaugural The Week Junior Book Awards, Deutsche Jugendliteraturpreis 2021, the Royal Society Young People's Book Prize, the Association for Science Education Book of the Year, the English 411 Picture Book Awards and the Blue Peter Book Awards.
