Michael Higgins studied piano at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, the Royal Academy of Music, London, and at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest with a scholarship awarded by the Joseph Weingarten Memorial Trust. He has performed throughout Europe, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and the Solomon Islands. Michael has taught piano for over 20 years, with a particular specialism in young beginners aged four to 11, as well as older students to diploma level and beyond.
