Sue Wickstead is a teacher and an author and write's children's picture books, many with a bus theme. She has also written a photographic history book about a real Playbus, which is where her story writing began. Writing the history book led her to write the first of her fictional tales: 'Jay-Jay the Supersonic Bus', was published in 2014 and has now been followed by eleven more picture books and also a bus double decker colouring book . All of her books have a bus connection as well as links to her teaching journey. David's Bath Time Adventure is her newest book. Sue is a self-published author, a teacher and also a 'Patron of Reading'. Sue has undertaken author events in schools and libraries across the South-East as well as an author visit in Spain.
