This book examines the use of animals in ancient Egyptian satirical parody through two examples: one is taken from a well-known papyrus preserved in Turin, the other, previously unpublished, comes from Basel and is presented here in its editio princeps. These two documents enable us to take a fresh look at human relationships as mediated through animals. (French text)
