This volume reviews the latest progress in the pathogenesis, diagnosis and therapy of disseminated intravascular coagulation. It contains seven overviews and 38 papers with emphasis on the pathogenesis and clinical aspects of DIC, as well as on new therapeutic approaches in DIC.
