The book presents the most up-to-date Ukrainian translation of "Hell" (the first part of "Divine Comedy"). The main goal of this translation was to move away from a certain "academicism": not only to reproduce the content and poetic form of Dante's masterpiece, but also to give an idea of the Italian language just created by the poet.
