Founded in 1990, Palmbout Urban Landscapes is now one of the leading urban planning offices in the Netherlands. Its approach is characterized by a constant search for a new relationship between urban planning, architecture, and landscape architecture. Frits Palmboom is an architect and urban planner who has headed his own firm since 1990. He teaches at various universities (e.g., in Delft, Amsterdam, Louvain, Ghent, and Barcelona) and is the author of various publications.
