The fifth edition of this textbook on electro-optical imaging systems has been expanded to include new information on two-dimensional and two-directional analyses, expanded staring array analyses, image reconstruction and in-band/out-of-band sampling artifacts. Holst, an independent consultant for imaging system analysis, aims this material at engineers and researchers involved with testing and development of such equipment as scanning systems, staring arrays and line scanners.
