This aims to provide a comprehensive treatement of the establishment and maintenance of electronic bulletin boards in libraries. It discusses the integration of bbs's into the context of both tranditoinal and computer-based research, public, and reference services. Includes are case studies of a variety of institutions incorporating electronic bulletin board systems into their range of resources.
