Michael Morpurgo is one of the UKs best-loved authors and storytellers. He has written more than 150 books, including the internationally celebrated War Horse, and was appointed Childrens Laureate in 2003. Morpurgo was awarded an OBE in 2007 and a knighthood in 2018 for services to literature and charity. Michael Foreman is an internationally renowned, multi-award-winning childrens book illustrator and author. He has twice won the prestigious Kate Greenaway Medal for British childrens book illustration and in 2022 was awarded an OBE for services to literature in the Queen's Jubilee Honours.
