This book will present a range of responses to address housing need and affordability from around the globe. With different perceptions of the problem apparent in different countries, varying responses driven by local context are fully discussed, using a cross-disciplinary and multi-regional approach to illustrate localised models for future housing. Successful responses, considering the local, national and international context of the urban environment, are explored, and the conclusions and operational recommendations reflecting those varied solutions are discussed and critiqued by the international team of contributors.
