An Inspiring and Often Humorous Rags-to-Riches Story
With rare humor and the instincts of a born storyteller, George A. Santino describes his rise from rags to riches through a series of adventures, which range from opening a sports bar with no walls to cursing out a drill sergeant and battling a hiring manager to get a job that he intended to turn down. Santinos adventures culminate in enjoying a long, successful career with Microsoft, building a family, losing (and regaining) a small fortune along the way, and triumphing over a freak spinal injury. Throughout, Santino shares his perspectives on business and mentorship and stresses, by example, his central lesson: No matter what life throws at you, get back up.
George A. Santino has been a fast food manager, life insurance and liquor salesman, shoe repair owner, real estate investor, software engineering manager, recording artist, and Microsoft partner. Most recently, he has worked as a professional speaker and author. Get Back Up is his first book.
