A multi award-winning, freelance photographer, with four decades of experience working for PR and Event agencies, and the national and regional press. Paul's photographs are regularly used worldwide. Paul was a staff photographer with the Bailey Newspaper Group based in Dursley, 1987 1998, before becoming a staff photographer with The Western Daily Press, The Citizen and Gloucestershire Echo for 16 years before becoming a freelance photographer in 2014. Today Paul's clients include major brands, animal organisations and charities, energy companies, political parties, PR and Event agencies and national and international media. Paul's press work is published in print, and on websites for all the UK national press, plus the most popular sites worldwide including the BBC, The Times, Daily Mail. Paul's images have reached every corner of the globe. Paul has even accompanied the Gloucestershire Regiment, The Rifle's on active live duty in Belfast, Ireland, 2002, and on peacekeeping missions in Kosovo 2004. Paul is the EDF Energy South West News Photographer of the Year 2009/ 2014, Event Photography Awards Portfolio Award Winner 2022. Most recently in 2024, one of Paul's images was a finalist in the prestigious Natural History Museum Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition.
