The exercises can work just as well using old-fashioned worksheets or chalkboard, or using the resources found on the CD-ROM: preformatted SMART Notebook files, Mimio interactive whiteboard files, PDF files for a multimedia projector, and black line masters to make transparencies for an overhead projector. The CD-ROM also includes a bonus story unit, reproducible express packets with two exercises per page, and a printable sheet of proofreading symbols, as well as printable illustrations of story characters, spelling lists, flashcards, and a video on how to use the exercise with interactive whiteboard software.
