This textbook is designed to support healthcare professionals, clinical researchers, and students for whom English may not be a first language, enabling them to work effectively with dental patients in English-speaking regions. It offers practical, scenario-based learning while simplifying technical concepts using a conversational format with simulated patient dialogues. The chapters guide readers through clinical conversations, emphasising evidence-based, person-centred communication for managing common dental conditions. Later sections provide opportunities to practice and apply these skills through realistic simulations, helping readers refine their communication abilities for real-world clinical settings.

Recenzijos

'The overwhelming majority of complaints result from misaligned communication. This book aims to help rectify the matter by guiding the reader towards improved spoken English to facilitate better understanding between dental professional and patient. I am sure that, true to its purpose, its reputation will spread rapidly by word of mouth.'Stephen Hancocks OBEEditor-in-Chief, British Dental Journal, UK'This book addresses a persistent yet often overlooked challenge in international dentistry. The chapters are well-structured, and the content is highly relevant. I am confident that both overseas dentists and students will find this resource helpful.'MK AlamProfessor of Preventive Dentistry, Jouf University, Saudi Arabia'The book can be a good source of refreshing reference in every dental clinic. I strongly feel that every dental student, especially those who are starting clinical years, would love to have the book as a reading material prior to starting their clinical training.'Prof Adam bin HuseinDepartment of Restorative Dentistry, University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
