Hazrat Mir Sayid Muhammad Hussain Simnani (RA) arrived in Kashmir in 760 AH/ 1359 AD on the spiritual directions in repeated visions of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and played a great role in reforming the thoughts and actions of Sultans of Kashmir beside relieving locals from superstitious beliefs by his preaching and miraculous powers.
