Prof Ahmed BaHammam:



Prof. Ahmed S. BaHammam is a tenured Professor of Sleep Medicine at King Saud University (KSU) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Internationally recognized for his pioneering research on intermittent fasting, meal timing, and sleep, particularly during Ramadan, his work over 25 years has established him as a leading authority in this field. He has published over 375 peer-reviewed articles, 75 book chapters, and seven books on sleep medicine. Professor BaHammam is the Editor-in-Chief of Nature & Science of Sleep and the President-Elect of the Asian Society of Sleep Medicine.



Prof Mohamad Hassanein, FRCP, CCST, MPHIL, MBCHB:



Prof. Mohamed Hassanein is a Professor of Medicine at Mohamed Bin-Rashid University, Dubai, a senior consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes at Dubai Hospital, and a professor at Gulf Medical University, UAE. He co-founded the diabetes diploma/MSC for Cardiff University in 2007 and was a Consultant in the UK. His primary research focus is diabetes and Ramadan, having co-authored recommendation papers for ADA, BMJ, Diabetes Canada, and IDF-DAR. He also focuses on diabetes education programs, winning awards from Diabetes UK and EASD. With over 100 publications, he is the first author of the Emirates Cardiometabolic guidelines and an associate editor of the Dubai Diabetes and Endocrinology Journal.



Prof Osama Hamdy:



Dr. Osama Hamdy is a Senior Endocrinologist and Medical Director of the Obesity Clinical Program at Joslin Diabetes Center and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. His research demonstrated the significant benefits of 7% weight loss in obese patients. He was a co-investigator in the landmark Diabetes Prevention Program and Look AHEAD Study.
