This book is concerned with the mechanisms of action of immunogenicity on blood vessel-thrombocytic hemostasis and the role of the thymus and the bursa of fabricius in the regulation of the aggregate state of blood. Relations are established between the immunity system and that regulating the aggregate state of blood under normal conditions or pregnancy, or when extreme actions are exerted on the body. It has been shown that hemostasis of the RASB system is maintained by auto-antibodies formed against activated blood coagulation factors.
Part 1 Immune mechanisms regulating the hemostasis system, V.I.Kuznik
and N.N.Tsybikow: role of the thymus in the regulation of hemostasis;
hemostasis in thymectomized man and animals - the role of the thymus in
hemostasis regulation in pregnancy, the role of the thymus in regulation
hemostasis under extreme conditions; the role of the bursa of fabricus in
birds in hemostatic regulation - hemostasis in bursectomized chickens -
adjustment of hemostasis in bursectomized chickens, the role of the bursa in
hemostasis regulation under extreme conditions - the influence of adrenaline
on coagulability and fibrinolysis in intact and bursectomized chickens, the
effect of blood loss on hemostasis in bursectomized and intact chickens, the
effect of heterologous transfusion on the hemostatic system in intact and
bursectomized chickens; mechanisms of the hemostatic action of the thymus and
bursa. Part 2 Immunological studies in coagulology, Z.D.Fedorova, et al. Part
3 Cell-mediated effects of thrombin as an example of interaction between the
hemostasis system and immunity, N.A.Fedorov and E.V.Barkovsky: macromolecular
biosynthesis in thrombin-stimulated lymphocytes; thrombin-induced
reorganization of lymphocyte membranes. Part 4 Immunological factors and the
RASB system, O.K.Gavrilov: nonspecific immunomodulation; auto-immune
responses; formation of immune complexes.
