Sarah E. OHare is a Connecticut native and long-time hiker in the state, having been a hike leader and board member of the Connecticut Section of the Green Mountain Club. She has led day hikes in Connecticut, multi-day backpacking treks on the Appalachian Trail throughout New England and has hiked the entire Long Trail in Vermont. She remains a member of the Green Mountain Club and is also a member of the Connecticut Forest and Park Association and Great Meadows Conservation Trust. She assisted in reviewing the trails in 50 Hikes in Connecticut for its sixth edition (Countryman Press, 2019) and is acknowledged by the author, Mary Anne Hardy, in the revision.
