Ten days, ten tasks - can Holly complete her very own Dadventure Holly's dad is an explorer, having amazing adventures all over the world, while Holly is stuck at home with her mum, her baby brother and the dog. She has ten days to complete ten tasks - some silly, some tricky and some downright terrifying.
Holly wants to be an adventurer, just like her Dad. He's an explorer&;well, a travel writer&;but he's always off on adventures. Like now, he's away in Greenland riding dogsleds and sleeping in an igloo while Holly is stuck at home with her mother, baby brother Ernest and Oates the disobedient dog. Worse still, he won't be there when she performs her magic tricks in front of a huge crowd at school in 10 days, or for her birthday. But Dad has planned something very special&;Holly's birthday card is a map where X marks the beginning of 10 challenges that she must complete in as many days; her very own "Dadventure!" As Holly completes each task she discovers that exploration often means facing your fears, that her mother used to be a danger-loving daredevil and that adventures can happen very close to home!

Dave Lowe (Author) Dave Lowe grew up in Dudley in the West Midlands, and now lives in Brisbane, Australia, with his wife and two daughters. He spends his days writing books, drinking lots of tea, and treading on Lego that his daughters have left lying around. Dave is the author of the successful STINKY AND JINKS: MY HAMSTER series, which follow the adventures of a nine-year-old boy called Ben, and Stinky, Ben's genius pet hamster. (When Dave was younger, he had a pet hamster too. Unlike Stinky, however, Dave's hamster didn't often help him with his homework.)
