Located in Rossville, Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park, also known as Lake Winnie, has been drawing area families for 100 years. Opened on June 1, 1925, it was named after the Native American word Winnepesaukah, meaning "bountiful waters" or "beautiful lake of the highlands" and has has grown to over 80 acres , featuring 38 rides and a water park with seven attractions.
