Describes and illustrates over 45 different extirpative and reconstructive urologic surgeries that can be completed laparoscopically or with laparoscopic robot assistance. It provides very basic information, such as trocar placement and methods of laparoscopic access (transperitoneal and retroperitoneal). This is an excellent surgical atlas for both novice and advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgeons. It is comprehensive and well organized and illustrated. The editors of this textbook and their contributors intended to create an atlas of laparoscopic and robotic procedures. A step-by-step description was made for each procedure, accompanied by technical comments. Preoperative and postoperative management of patients were briefly described in each paragraph.
