Jonathan Gordon (video author) is a prominent InDesign instructor who has trained students and adults in Adobe products for over 20 years. Jonathan has lectured at various conventions and media workshops across the United States. An award-winning instructor, he was named Broward County Journalism Adviser of the Year by the Sun Sentinel and was awarded the same distinction by the Florida Scholastic Press Association. Jonathan has taught digital media technology (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver) through McFatter Technical College. He has provided video content and material for Brainbuffet.com and has also consulted for Certiport as a subject matter expert. Jonathan earned a masters degree in mass communication from the University of Florida, specializing in online communication and web design. Several of his former journalist students have gone on to be published in the Columbia Spectator, the Miami Herald, the New York Times, and Sports Illustrated.

 

Conrad Chavez (primary book author) is an author and photographer. His experience with digital media workflows extends back to the birth of desktop publishing with Aldus PageMaker, the precursor to Adobe InDesign. During his time at Adobe Systems, Inc., Conrad helped write the user guide for Adobe InDesign. He is the author of several titles in the Adobe Classroom in a Book and Real World Adobe Photoshop series, and he writes articles for CreativePro.com and InDesign Magazine.
