Michael Hurley is a priest of the Archdiocese of Dublin and has had seven very varied diocesan appointments. In 2013, as part of a team, he was asked to lead seminars on the formation of parish cells for the priests of the diocese of Masaka, Uganda. He has also been invited to speak or lead events in Malta, England, Scotland and Florida, USA.
