On a mercy mission to Budapest, taking medical supplies into post-Ceaucescu Romania, Helen Sinclair heard of a little boy dying of a curable strain of leukaemia, due to the lack of facilities. This is the story of her appeal to bring this child, and others, to England for live-saving treatment. Helen's single-handed battle to bring Richard to Great Ormond Street Hospital received wide media attention.
