Five of the best festive stories to listen to over Christmas!
Helen Baugh wrote her first book (a book of spells) as a very young child. After taking a degree, travelling and working as a copywriter, she finally came full circle and started writing children's books again. Helen lives with her partner and their two daughters near the sea in Sussex.

Mandy Stanley was born in Lowestoft, Suffolk. She attended Great Yarmouth College of Art and Design and then went on to do a fashion degree in Nottingham. Mandy has won awards for her soft toy designs and has also worked as a childrens clothes designer. She now works full time as a childrens book illustrator.

Emma Chichester Clark studied art at the Royal College of Art. She has worked as a freelancer for magazines, publishers and advertising agencies as well as teaching art for several years, but now dedicates most of her time to childrens books. She was nominated for the Kurt Maschler Award for Illustration twice and I Love You, Blue Kangaroo!, was shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal.

Rob Scotton is a prolific artist and illustrator. He studied at Leicester Polytechnic and now lives in Rutland with his wife, Liz, who is also an artist. Rob only had to look out of his studio window to find the inspiration for Russell the Sheep, his debut picture book. The rolling countryside surrounding his home is brimming with sheep, other wildlife, sheep, rural beauty and more sheep!
