Mountain Walks Ben Nevis by Keri Wallace is a guide to walking routes to the summit of Ben Nevis in Lochaber, Scotland. Alongside the summit routes, there are also lower-level alternatives for mixed weather or shorter days and those new to mountain walking.

Among the 15 inspiring routes, the classics are all included, such as Ben Nevis summit via the iconic grade-1 scramble on the Cąrn Mņr Dearg Arźte, and even those who are familiar with the area will find new and imaginative route ideas to discover. Whether you aspire to climb Ben Nevis on the traditional route from Glen Nevis, or youre looking for a bigger adventure, this is the only guidebook you need.

Together with stunning photography, each route features: Ordnance Survey 1:25,000 maps; easy-to-follow, detailed directions; downloadable GPX files; essential info about public transport and safety advice; details about the terrain and navigation; and facilities, refreshments and points of interest.

Keri Wallace is a hillwalker, runner, climber, mountain leader and co-founder of Girls on Hills, the UK's only guided trail running, hill walking and navigation company designed specifically for women. She lives in Glencoe in the heart of the Scottish Highlands with her husband and children and spends her days guiding runs and walks in the Ben Nevis area and juggling being a mum to their two girls. In 2011, she completed the three UK Big Rounds the Bob Graham, Charlie Ramsay and Paddy Buckley rounds solo-supported in a single, multi-day push for charity. Initially a neurobiologist, Keri has a PhD in Proprioceptive Plasticity but in 2018 made a career change, setting up her own trail running business in Scotland. As a local, Keri has been hillwalking and mountaineering in the Ben Nevis area through all seasons for over 15 years. Her first book, Running Challenges, was published in 2024.
