This is the textbook for my lighting design course, it has been written for students of a Master's course in Interior Design.Objective of the book is to introduce the reader to the design of a lighting system in an interior by going through four major steps.The first step describes the fundamentals of lighting science and provides the basic concepts that will be used throughout the book.The second step applies the concepts of the first to the study of the different types of lamps used in interior lighting.The third step uses the knowledge from the first two in order to analyse the different types of luminaires available on the market and the tasks they can illuminate.The fourth step suggests a workflow that the designer can follow to design a lighting system.
