This is the autobiogrpahy of Meic Stephens, the Welsh author, translator, or editor of around 170 books. Growing up in the 1940s, he later had a very successful career as literature director of the Welsh Arts Council, lecturer, literary journalist, poet, and editor. He learnt Welsh as an adult and during the 1960s campaigned for an independent Wales. With color and black & white plates.
