The Student's Book Pack A contains a print Student's Book covering units 1-6. Each unit incorporates the course theme of Life Skills, along with Grammar sections, Support boxes and a writing syllabus. A DVD with video is included and a webcode providing access to the Student's Resource Center where video worksheets and audio are available.

Steve Taylore-Knowles has been involved in ELT for 17 years as a teacher, examiner, trainer and author. His most recent courses, published by Macmillan, are openMind and masterMind. He has also written other successful courses including Laser and Destination. Mickey Rogers graduated from the university of Texas and went on to teach there after gaining a Masters in TEFL. Mickey has since taught in Colombia, Spain, America and Mexico. Joanne Taylore-Knowles moved out to Greece, where she worked as an English language teacher. She taught a range of students there, from young learners up to adults.
