Ovulation induction and stimulation is an important procedure for women with ovarian dysfunction and also for those with normal ovarian function undergoing assisted reproduction for other reasons. There are a variety of possible agents and a number of side effects and other considerations to bear in mind. This text looks at the evidence for and against the different regimens and treatments so the clinician can make a reasoned decision between them.
