This is a collection of 126 traditional poems. I like the title "Pebbles" because the poems are many small things. And the title suggests bright colors. Writing the poems was guided by Keats' principles, not by his style or subject matter. The last poems were influenced by the greatness and heroism of Renoir in continuing to paint despite arthritis, by his beautiful paintings, and by an insanity I think I saw in his eyes in a photo.
