This guide is endorsed by the European Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Anaesthesiologists (EACTA).
Dr Stefaan Bouchez is a cardiac anaesthesiologist at the Ghent University Hospital in Belgium. His areas of clinical expertise include adult and paediatric cardiac anaesthesia, perioperative echocardiography and lung ultrasound, pulmonary hypertension and left ventricular assist devices.
