Big Cat for Little Wandle Fluency has been developed in collaboration with Wandle Learning Trust and Little Sutton Primary School. It consists of a range of chapter books with increasing word counts across 10 fluency levels aimed at children in Year 2 and 3. Each book builds reading confidence, stamina and speed and nurtures a love for reading.
Fluency 9 books have a word count of 5520 words with an expected reading rate of 115 words per minute.

Dan is a self-taught illustrator born in Essex in 1972. Dan moved to Kent as a child and finally settled in the tranquil village of Chartham. He creates his illustrations from the imaginary worlds between his (slightly hairy) ears. Dan loves sharp teeth, claws, creatures that want to take over the world and pretty much everything in between except clowns so you wont find any here. Hes continually improving his art and producing images for children that he hopes will knock their socks off!
