Tony and Jan Payne are a husband and wife writing team who live in the Dordogne area of France. For a time they had their own card company, Payne Family Cards, designing and publishing pop-up greetings cards for children. They are now concentrating on developing their remarkable and original talents writing stories for young readers. Emily Bolam trained at Brighton Art College and went straight on to illustrate children's books. She lives and works in Brighton
