This book explains the theory and technology of converting electric energy to another form of energy, such as thermal, chemical, or mechanical, as well as the operating principles of installations and calculation methods. It provides strict classification of the procedures of converting electric energy to other forms of energy, a theoretical explanation of conversion mechanisms, a calculation of energy converters, and a complete presentation of the stated problem and its novelty. It represents a significant contribution to practice since it generalizes new theoretical statements, calculation methods, and installations, as well as the operation features of electrotechnological equipment most widely used in the countries of Eastern Europe.
