While historically focusing on the object, the study of ethics in conservation has expanded to consider the human aspect of conservation work. Nina Owczarek (she/her) is Assistant Professor of conservation at the University of Delaware. She was previously Associate Conservator at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, where she worked for nine years. She is a graduate from New York University and a Fellow member of the American Institute for Conservation.
