Dr Swatil Goyal is an Associate Professor of Radiodiagnosis at GMC Bhopal and has been keenly involved in academics, research, and public health work. She has three international books to her credit: two as an author Neuroradiology- A Case-Based Guide and Essentials of Abdomino-Pelvic Sonography. published by CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Group and one as an editor, Clinical Sonography: A Practical Guide SAE published by Wolters Kluwers. She is also the author of a non-academic book addressing public health issues pertaining to lifestyle ailments, What A Non-medico Must Know:The Quintessential Guide to Family Health and Wellness.. She earned a PhD in Medicine for her work on machine learning in medical imaging, and her papers on the topic have been accepted at multiple prestigious international conferences. She is a coordinator of a ational AI committee, IRIA and AI course coordinator, ICRI. She is also a recipient of the President's Appreciation Award by the Indian Radiology and Imaging Association (IRIA) 2022.
