Romance & Cigarettes tells the story of one mans journey into infidelity and redemption. It follows a cheating blue-collar worker (Gandolfini), who is forced to choose between his sexy mistress (Winslet) and his put-uponwife (Sarandon). When the characters cant express themselves with language, they break into song, lip-synching the tunes lodged in their subconscious. An ironworker with a wife and three daughters has an affair and soon realizes the effect of his betrayal on his family.
