Edward Crossan was born in Edinburgh and is an editor at Polygon, an imprint of Birlinn, where he acquires and edits literary fiction and poetry. Since 2015, he has revitalised Polygons poetry programme building an award-winning list that includes Jenni Fagan, Hannah Lavery, Iona Lee, Liz Lochhead, Michael Pedersen, Alycia Pirmohamed, Thomas Stewart and Roseanne Watt. He lives in a small seaside town on the shores of the Firth of Forth with his wife and two children.
